Emotional understanding is fundamental to being a good parent or teacher.
Empathy and
understanding our own emotions as well as being able to "read" the emotions of others are essential concepts needed to deepen our understanding of both the rigors and compassion found in working with today's young people. Much has been said or documented about the difficulties involved with teaching in today's inner-city schools, but little has been done to share the real life emotions of both teacher and student as reflected in our schools today. Teacher's Journey" was written to encourage all of us whose trusted mission is to build a better future for our children and to share the emotions of our own everyday journeys as
that trusted beacon in the often times tumultuous sea of life.
